TIL almost all of these (Pontiac G8) came with a 6 pot making under 300 hp, and no third pedal. I think it is the g8 GT that comes with the LS power, but try finding one of those for the measly $7000 CAD these seem to be averaging.
No matter, I still am giving it serious contemplation for next toy. It is sad to me that Pontiac finally started making desirable cars just in time to go out of biz. I figure these, the 2004 gen GTO, and the solstice will be worth serious bank in 5-10 years.

From what I’ve read , most of the G8s were the GTs which were V8s and all automatic. I believe only the GXP got the manual. I’ve heard though that actual numbers are a bit difficult to pin down.
I’m still a bit disappointing that the G8 ST never came to fruition.
